MSN PPC on its Own Now?
Hey, you're new. We like you already! You obviously have great taste! If you like what you read here you'll probably want to subscribe to our RSS feed (or the audio RSS feed). Stick around and be sure to speak up and post a comment or two!
I’ve found that the search volume for my Overture PPC campaigns has been declining. I also noticed that clients’ ads are not showing on MSN any more, which has been a long-time search network partner of Yahoo. I think it’s fair to say that MSN is on its own now in regard to PPC, with what they call “AdCenter”. As a matter of fact, I just visited MSN AdCenter and it says that they have just officially launched it today. Well I suppose its time to welcome a third major player in regard to PPC campaigns. I gotta go… and sign up!

Seth … we’ve been running MSN ads for a week now and I can say that it’s giving better results in terms of ROI than Google Adwords.
The volume is not as big as Google, BUT it’s not too far from it.
They are now thinking of launching a MSN AdSence sort of a program in the summer. It would be interesting to see how that performs.

May 8th, 2006 at 5:25 amSeth’s my point man on PPC so when he tries it it means I’ve tried it! We just talked about that in the office and we’re going to give it a test. It’s good to hear your feedback on this. On a lot of our accounts we get better ROI with Yahoo over Google so we’ll see how MSN does in comparison to both of these.
