SES SJ: Successful Site Architecture

Hey, you're new. We like you already! You obviously have great taste! If you like what you read here you'll probably want to subscribe to our RSS feed (or the audio RSS feed). Stick around and be sure to speak up and post a comment or two!

This session was focused on site architecture and making your site ideal for the search engine spiders. I don’t have much to report on this session because there wasn’t much said that I already hadn’t heard before. Essentially the over-lying message was that if your site cannot be crawled correctly in the first place, than you will have bigger problems than just rankings. They did make mention of a new firefox extension called x ray. It allows you to see the HTML markup code at the top of the page without having to view source code separately.
